We have some exciting news to share! Our recent community outreach efforts were featured on Mid-Michigan NOW as part of their coverage on the essential support systems serving Flint and Genesee County.

 

The feature highlighted the community food giveaway hosted at St. Mark’s Missionary Baptist Outreach Center on November 12th—an event that came at a critical time for local families.

 

Stepping Up When It Counted Most

For years, St. Mark’s has been a lifeline for the area, hosting essential food giveaways twice a month. But with food costs continuing to strain household budgets across Mid-Michigan, the outreach center hit a major hurdle: a sudden gap in funding threatened to stall their upcoming distributions.

 

When our team at Deluxe Dental learned that the November 12th giveaway was at risk, we couldn’t stand by. We immediately stepped in to provide the necessary sponsorship and resources, ensuring the center’s pantry was fully stocked with fresh, nutritious groceries for the hundreds of residents relying on it.

 

More Than Just Dental Care

To us, practicing community-centered care means looking at health holistically. Total well-being includes nutritional security, peace of mind, and knowing your community has your back.
